Overly excited by the installation of lights to the main studio to allow us to do evening classes. 6 switches, 6000 watts of halogen light hitting the roof and bouncing back down.

The Cornwall is a very nice hotel. We would like to thank the management for 1. Employing us to do all the artwork and 2.Letting us stay there before it opened. There's nothing quite like having a 5 star hotel to youselves!

We have a new studio. Perfect Circle and Strange Frames and all the associated gang have moved to 37 Lochburn road. All our pennies have been spent on a big glass ceiling to paint under. The light's fabulous. Woo hoo.







Working with Mr Gray at Oran Mor.

All credit to Mr Colin Beattie for commissioning the most ambitious piece of public art in Scotland. Funded completely out of his own pocket.

The two Alasdairs - the work of Alasdair Gray and Alasdair Taylor at the  Glasgow School of Art on the 21st of November 08.

Nichol Wheatley is currently writing a short pamphlet about his experience and the benefits he has enjoyed from Perfect Circle Art. In the hope that anyone else who wished to do the same kind of thing may find it easier.

In 2006  NIchol was alleged by the Croatian Customs of trying to smuggle Artwork in Croatia. The work in question was for a 5 star hotel in Bulgaria. After 10 days of nonsense in Zagreb and with the help of The British Embassey (who were fantastic) and Jasminica Vrbanovic a local lawyer we were allowed to leave the country and continue on our way. (we were escorted out of the country by an armed gaurd)



The Hotel looked lovely when it was finished tho (won awards I hear)

Nichol is married to the author Susan Bain, they have 2 children.
The kids are absolutely brilliant and so far have been quite content to share a flat with their parents.
