Nichol Wheatley is a Scottish Artist mainly concerned with painting. To this end he has spent 12 years working on his project Perfect Circle Art a fine art studio designed to work to order for designers, architects and other clients. The purpose of this was to fund and push forward Nichol Wheatley's studies and researches in painting.

Wheatley has worked for a wide variety of corporate and private clients as a consulting artist.

Wheatley has played a significant role in helping the famous Scottish author and artist, Alasdair Gray in his cycle of murals at Oran Mor,  his mural at Hillhead Subway Station and other projects, mainly through Perfect Circle.

As of mid 2012 Wheatley has been mainly working on his own work. A show of new paintings will follow in 2013.
