NIchol Wheatley is a Scottish Artist mainly concerned with painting. To this end he has spent 10 years working on his project PERFECT CIRCLE ART a fine art studio designed to work to order for designers, architects and other clients. The purpose of this was to fund and push forward Nichol Wheatley's studies and researches in painting.
Wheatley has taught at the Glasgow School of Art, mainly in the continuing education department. He has tutored several well known Scottish Artists.

He is a founding member of the Maryhill Art School a small art school dedicated to the proper teaching of Drawing and Painting.

He contributes to New Linear Perspectives.


Wheatley has played a significant role in helping the famous Scottish author and artist, Alasdair Gray in his cycle of murals at Oran Mor, mainly through Perfect Circle.
He has written about Charles Rennie Mackintosh, and contributed to a televsion program about his later life. He lectures on Rembrandt and Whistler.
